Desperate Decisions

So, in these troubled times with it looking likely that many of us will be spending more time at home, I would love to use that time to write some more stories. I went through a phase of writing a lot, but haven't done so in such a long time now.

I wanted to explore the thought processes of guys in a really desperate situation. So let's imagine you are in a scenario where you are very incredibly desperate to go, and you are 90% certain that you will not reach a toilet in time. Let's for arguments sake say, stuck on a train or coach with no toilet.

In such a situation, would you still hold on for as long as physically possible, i.e. until the point where you start peeing with absolutely zero control over it?

Or do you think in such a situation, some guys would take a bit more control of the situation. Knowing that it will inevitably happen, would you ever start deliberately peeing earlier in order to minimise the impact? So perhaps start peeing when sitting down to minimise the spread, or sitting in particular fashion to cause least damage? Or shielding yourself from view of others? Rather than holding on and potentially starting to go out with your control in front of people or standing up where it would be more noticeable?

Can you tell I've too much time on my hands and thinking about this too much!! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, and also an apology for my complete lack of story writing lately!

I think I'd put something on my lap - a bag if I had one - to hide what was going to happen. But I'd still hold on as long as i possibly could, I think.

I think most of us would hope for a miracle and hold on. It might be more sensible to reposition onesself to minimize the damage and pee down one leg (moving your foot to keep it out of your shoe).

I’d guess if you’d reached the stage where you were frantic and absolutely on the verge of losing control and simply going in your pants without being able to help it, all thoughts would be focused on desperately trying to hold rather than how to make what was going to happen slightly less obvious. The thought process is a fascinating one though.

True. Some will rely on the platitude, "you can always hold it longer than you think you can", or they will seek extra strength or intervention from Above. When in a panic, logic goes out the window for many of us. But I think there are some who would plan for the inevitable and try to minimize the damage.

I guess you're right, and perhaps by that stage you become unaware of your surroundings or who can see you and you just are focusing on holding it in a little bit longer. The thought process really is an interesting one.

For me I would keeping holding on for grim
Death which has never failed me! I love the idea that someone wouldn’t make it though! Although I firmly believe that when push comes to shove everyone can hold on!!! 🙂

I agree. Look on something like twitter and see how many lads post stuff like, “I’m going to piss myself on this coach any minute” or “Stuck in traffic and minutes away from wetting myself”. But I’ve never seen seen a tweet saying someone didn’t make it. Is that because they always do? Or just that they would go that far in admitting it?

Guys who will post things like that though surely aren't anywhere near actually wetting themselves? I think there's a huge difference between really needing to go, and being at serious risk of losing control. I mean if I was absolutely on the verge of doing it, I don't think I'd be capable of writing a tweet!! Absolutely fascinating though, I always love seeing posts like that, and always do like to imagine that they did wet but didn't admit it.....

My favourite ending would always be a combination of the person making it to a tribal but starting to pee before they are able to get it out!!!!!
