Briefer Sightings

Brief sighting:

Outside stadium during a major sporting event.
I became aware of some police officers talking to this bloke, well dressed, possibly from the corporate area.
I guess he was told to leave and was escorted out.
After the police officers departed he walked no further than 50 metres along the footpath and stopped. Then I heard the heavy splashing sound.
It sounded like a big one, and there was a good size puddle splattered on the pavement a few minutes later when I walked by.
I imagine he'd probably had a few, but got caught and escorted out before he had used the facilities inside.

Anyway, I hope it felt good, it certainly sounded like it would have

Tonight's brief sighting:

Bumped into older middle aged bloke leaving a bar, he's on his way out, I'm just going to use the cash machine then leaving. We exchanged quick pleasantries as we passed, ice broken.
I take some cash and leave. Bloke's at the bus stop opposite across the road. There's some road works and the footpath on one side of the road closed so I have to cross to that same side anyway.
He's looking at his phone, and I assume sees that the bus is running late in the app (it was 4 minutes late, I checked the app as well). So he goes just round beside the bus stop, unzips, and takes a nice big piss into the vacant block behind. Completely nonchalant, as I walk past, he doesn't care, probably somewhat uninhibited after drinking plus we already broke the ice, he's just enjoying his wee.
A couple of minutes later the bus arrives, he boards, and the bus goes.
There's a nice puddle on the cement in the vacant block.

I have 2 questions:
1. Is not using the facilities at the bar before leaving deliberate?
2. Had the bus been on time, was he just going to hold it in until destination?

I suspect he just enjoys a good pee outside, like any other man. Maybe only had to go a few stops, so otherwise would have just peed at destination.

If I had also been waiting for the bus, and had said "mind if I.." then taken a nice big piss there too? What do you think? I like to think mutual understanding, boys just being boys, we all just enjoy a good pee outside

Unfortunately I had nothing in this instance.

This might be an example of "I'll hold it until I get home", which I think is a common practice, but while waiting for the bus he realized he was closer to desperation than he had thought, and might not make it home in time.

Was walking back to a hotel in NYC this weekend when I saw something that piqued my curiosity. A fit young guy (mid 20s?) wearing a white tank & running shorts with sunglasses propped up on his head hightailed it past me into the hotel lobby. I didn't think anything of it, but when I caught up, he was standing in front of the lift waiting to go up, his eyes laser-focused on the floor the lift was on. I also noticed him stepping from foot to foot a couple of times and tapping his foot impatiently. He put both his hands into a fist in front of his crotch, but didn't seem to try applying any pressure (this is also just a generic courteous pose, so it felt inconclusive). When we eventually got on, he pressed to go up to level 2, and when exiting, again hightailed it out, presumably to his room. I couldn't tell if this was desperation -- it looked like it to me, but I also felt if he was truly desperate it would have been faster simply to take the one flight of stairs.

Nice sighting, thanks for posting. Stepping from one foot to the other, foot tapping and hands in a fist in front of the crotch all point towards a full bladder in my book. And if it was faster to take the stairs that would be true whatever the reason for his haste was.

We've seen a few good videos of this situation. Someone has been out and about, and public restrooms are few, so he figures, "I'll hold it until I get back to the hotel." I know that in my travels in the past, sometimes the hotel is the only toilet you can depend on.
