I can't say that I've ever intentionally done it. However I have occasionally put of peeing until I've started spurting in my underpants. I did that several times when working full time in an office.

When you aren't in public view, putting off peeing until you can't hold back on that first spurt is an exciting moment. I've avoided doing it where wet pants would be noticed.

This is such a good question and topic! I came extremely close to doing it last year when I was stuck in very bad traffic trying to get back to a rental car return area.

It felt like it was my only option to avoid fully losing control, and a few times I made the "alright, I just have to do it" decision, but always decided against it in the end for the same reason everyone here is mentioning - I wasn't sure if I'd be able to stop once I started.

It turned out to be the right decision, and I avoided soaking a rental car. However, I did have to pee against a wall instead of in a bathroom because I was not going to make it quite that far.

Glad you managed to keep your pants and the car seat dry (I imagine the rental company was also grateful, since it’s easier to hose off a wall than to wash off the upholstery in a car anyhow)
