The neighbor that I have written about before (40 year old carpenter) came here tonight to pick up my pile of newspapers that he uses to start his wood stoves. He came in, beer in hand, and we talked for a few minutes, and when he went back out to his car, his battery was dead. So I moved my car close to his hand he hooked up jumper cables and started the car. He had just unhooked the cables when he abruptly said, "I gotta pee!"and took half a dozen steps to the nearest bush and hurriedly relieved himself. It was quite a long pee!
This isn't the first time that something like this has happened, and I have always speculated about this guy. He lives just a 2-minute drive away, so he left his house with a full bladder and was apparently planning to hold it until he got home. Except he couldn't.

Re: My Neighbor Does it Again
Your account leaves me wondering why he didn't ask to use your toilet. Do you think he was so desperate that he couldn't even make it into your house? Or is it his normal habit to pee outside in a bush?

Re: My Neighbor Does it Again
In this rural area, peeing outdoors is the norm for men. I do it. Workers that I've hired do it. He has done it here before. Our water comes from wells, and some in the neighborhood have a limited supply. He would only use my toilet if he were here for a longer visit and going outdoors would be an inconvenience.
After our conversation in the house he must have needed to pee urgently but was expecting to hold it until he got home, but the flat battery delayed him. With his evening beer-drinking habit, over the years I've seen him need an immediate pee a number of times. He apparently holds it until he can't wait any longer.

Fred! He may be one of us!
Perhaps you can entice him to go with you on a not so quick errand!
