I think Sam's actions suggest that he's holding back a definite need to pee but is possibly not completely conscious of it yet.

Anyone got any thoughts as to why he didn't grab himself to try and hold on longer? Seems kind of bizarre that if you are on the verge of pissing yourself (and ultimately you do piss yourself) you wouldn't try to grab to stop it
