Love the nervous smile on his face while he's sitting there with crossed legs and as he makes his emergency exit.

So it turns out the latest WW2 miniseries is more true to life than you might think as actors routinely went more than 9 hours without peeing.

Astonishing!
The clip in that news item where this is revealed is well worth watching too. Looking at him on his chair being interviewed, I think the actor Anthony Boyle is reminded of not being able to pee for ages when asked what sort of difficulties the actors and crew had during filming because he needs a pee then during the interview.

Nine hours is a long time to have to hold your pee! Even if they limited their fluid intake, it's longer than most men would voluntarily hold it. They're young enough to do it, and they've probably had other instances in their acting careers where they had to carry on with full bladders, but still....

It's Australia, so the car is actually in the outside, overtaking lane! That would be natural for anyone in a hurry of course. I can only assume that the traffic slowed to a stop with him in that lane, and at that point he suddenly decided he couldn't wait another second.

He could have pulled over onto the hard shoulder, but he didn't. I can only presume that at the moment he exited his vehicle the traffic was stopped. He looked like a healthy young man, so he must have been holding it until he was about to wet himself. I wonder why.
