Welcome Back Everyone!
I'm sorry the furniture is a bit basic, the shelves are empty save a few new chronicles and the new paint smell hasn't yet faded.
It has been a long and stressful road for us all, and I'm sure it has been sad for you not to be able to come and browse your favourite stories, and catch up with others with shared interests.
Please feel free to add your own material to our collection. The shelves will be filled but you can help too.
As you did before, you know the drill.
There is a thread for sightings of the video kind, and for the rest we'll do as we did before. Therefore others can comment and discuss.
It will be nice to have the shelves filled again, people wandering around, and acquaintances popping in for their enjoyment
Thank you, everyone

I hope this new site can be more flexible for our needs. If anyone has any issues either reply to this message or PM me...

The last few days have been a bit stressful. Various issues complicated themselves with the forum and, for a breif period, complete access was available to everyone when logged out.
Well, that was a silly mistake wasn't it.
Several panic attacks later and wondering how to un-break it all I managed to get somewhere and it works again. I'm sorry for the outage. If anyone has any problems with any of the information seen or discovered during the time and wish to discuss it with me or another moderator, you know where we are.
Work is still ongoing, and thank you for your patience.

The old board at
www.ladsp.forumup.co.uk is back again, but I'm not sure how long.
I would advise ALL to go there and check on your stories, backing up your own work.
I have a virtual printer installed on my computer so I can print to PDF which is a sealed way to save documents.
Please, backup your work
I am trying where I can but once the forum has been backed up then it will be formerly shut down...

Should we post a link to here on the old board as long as it's up? Might help some people find us

It might indeed. On the other hand, should we be concerned about the possibility that if we do that someone in charge of the forumup.co.uk might realise that we've all gone elsewhere and shut us down before we can grab our old material? I don't know.

I'm delighted that I could retrieve some of my old stories! Many thanks for notifying us of the availability. I have copied a half-dozen of my writings, though regrettably, a few of my favorites are so ancient that they were posted on previous boards that no longer exist. There are a couple archived on Nifty, but my sagas in verse are gone forever. ;-(
As time permits, I'll sort through some of the other posts and see if any were interesting enough to be reposted here.

Not sure if they're that bothered?
