HI all,
I'm still giving thought to a trip on the Underground after a few beers, inspired by stories such as 'Leeds fan wets himself' and 'Train to Victoria'.
Any recommendation for challenging journeys?

Re: Underground Routes
It’s got to be the Metropolitan line from Baker Street to Wembley Park, or vice versa. It runs adjacent to the Bakerloo line which has five stops between the two stations. So imagine if you are on the Met line train, absolutely on the verge of not being able to wait … and the train goes non stop past FIVE stations! It also takes a quite a while and there’s no opportunity to get off, so you’d have to hang on desperately, if you can.
I reckon that’s what made the Leeds United fan wet himself. Gives me shudders just to think about it.

Well I'd choose the Piccadilly line not least because of the name of one of the stations.Lee wrote: 07 Feb 2026, 20:37 It’s got to be the Metropolitan line from Baker Street to Wembley Park
Maybe choose a line where you need to change, but have to rush to the next platform with no stopping.
Barbican on the Metropolitan line or Goodge Street - the throng of the crowd pushing you along the passageways, very slow lifts or escalators. Though I think Goodge Street close after rush hour.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
Lee, interesting that it makes you shudder - do you not like being busting for a piss yourself?

I meant the thought of that Leeds supporter desperate to go to the toilet as the train sped past station after station.
And then we know what happened … that makes me shudder a bit!

Agreed. I like needing to pee, but not as urgently as the guy I'm observing.briefs wrote: 09 Feb 2026, 18:26 That's interesting!
