Lads Pissing

As a result of a random google search, I stumbled across something which apparently happened only last week! It was on a forum called northstandchat.com and is for supporters of Brighton FC. I couldn't paste it, but it's from a thread entitled From a Brentford fan, under a forum called The Big Board.

The poster talked about the football game itself, and then included this following section at the end of his post.

"Just as a non-match aside, I was slightly unfortunate to be in the same carriage on the train from Gunnersbury after the game when a Brighton lad pissed himself! I did hear his mates warning him on the platform that there were no toilets in response to his pleas that he couldn't wait, and I guess that proved to be the case because he soaked his jeans on the train.

Virtually all the way to Victoria the carriage reverberated with chants of "he's wet himself, he's wet himself!" "pissy pants, pissy pants, pissy pants!" Must have put a slight dampener on the day for him."

Then his follow-up post later in the thread read,

"Haha, first time I've ever seen something like that. The really funny thing was that when everyone got off at Victoria, the lad was pleading with his mates "walk in front of me, don't let anyone see what's happened" as if everyone on the train hadn't already seen. But I don't think he'd actually realised that not only were his jeans all wet down the front of his legs, they were almost as wet all down the backs too, so even though he was walking right up close to his mates, everyone behind them could see what he'd done!

I know we shouldn't laugh, but...


We can all speculate about the actual circumstances and presume he got on the train absolutely bursting to go and had an accident in his pants. But wouldn't it be great to know a bit more? How tempted is anyone to join the forum and ask some questions. I wonder if you can private message the poster?

If anyone does get in touch with this poster, do try to encourage him here. His comment "Must have put a slight dampener on the day for him." is very witty. Still, if the poster really thinks he was "slightly unfortunate" to be in the same carriage, that's a shame: not, apparently, one of us then.

Poor guy in the account. Total humiliation there.

Some people don't develop the ability to make good decisions until they're in their mid twenties. This lad apparently drank too much, failed to relieve himself before setting off for the train, and chose to stay with his mates instead of seeking a toilet and taking the next train. Perhaps he expected he could hold it against all odds.

Would love to have seen his desperation in real time. And, as always, to have known what colour boxers he was wearing.
