Sad to see someone living like that. Good on him for finding a bathroom instead of just going in his car or next to it, which is probably what I would have done (or in my pants lol).

I'm confused that he apparently posted a picture of the money in the Bible and yet the article says that customs officials seized the package. Laws are different in every country, and here in the US, since $5,000 isn't a huge windfall, I think he'd be OK to simply report the winnings as income on his annual tax return. For larger winnings he'd have to pay tax right away.
